New Look mini shop

hiya, i still can't get over the weather!

I popped into New Look today after uni and bought yet another maxi skirt, and a cute broderie anglais top.

The top seemed pretty expensive (£19.99) for what it was, but i really liked the cut and fit of it.

The skirt is a blue maxi (£14.99) which i thought was really good value and very cool (i.e not hot, not cool as in 'duuuuuude, you're so cool').

But first, the obligatory beeeee photo seeing as the sun is now shining...

Skirt £14.99

Top £19.99

I really like the back detail!
Ciao for now

Summer is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe the last few days we've had, so hot and sunny!

So in spirit of the sunny days we've been having i thought flowery photos would be suitable!

H&M nail varnish in Hunt Me Down (left)  & Nerd (right)

Hunt me down £2.99- I love this colour, I'm definitely a muted colours person rather than a bright neon person

Nerd £2.99- really good nude colour, more on the pink side than yellow

Rib cage sleeveless tee from H&M - £9.99 ( i think?)

LOVE the back detail!!!! I didn't realise it had a sheer strip all the way down the back, but i really like it, makes it a bit more interesting

Cross bracelet (ant not included) this was a birthday gift a few months ago from my best friend, i believe she got it from Topshop

She also bought me this necklace (Topshop?) which i love, i like the mix of bright colours and spikes. I think because i always wear quite dark/muted colours, this necklace really stands out

MY ALL TIME FAVOURITE NECKLACE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD  UNIVERSE.
Again a present for my birthday, i adore this necklace, it goes with everything, its studded and its a short necklace. I've really been a fan of short necklaces recently.
Hope you guys have a lovely sunny weekend!

Barcelona Weekend Away :)

So at the beginning of May I went for a little weekend away to Barcelona just to have a little break from work and escape the terrible english weather :P I had such a nice time! I took waaay too many photos! Especially of Parc Guell, which is one of my favourite places in the world! I could sit there all day just soaking up the sun and chilling out. I also visited La Sagrada Familia, La Ramblas, La Boqueria, Port Olympic, the Gothic Quarter, Arc de Triumf, Plaza Catalunya and Plaza Espanya. I hope you like my photographs and that they inspire you all to go visit etc.

Zara, H&M & DIY

Zara Denim Jacket - £29.99
This jacket is from Zara's TRF collection and I literally have not stopped wearing it!! I usually roll up the sleeves, but I put them down for the photo :)
I'm really happy with the quality and the fit of the jacket as well.

H&M Guns & Roses Top - £9.99
I really wanted this top for summer to pair with my Levi shorts - I thought it would look really cool :P
Aha lol I like Guns & Roses as well which is a plus :)
I found the sizing was rather large though - I'm usually a UK 8 or 10 in tops but I had to go down to a size 6 for this top. But yeah, I CAN'T WAIT to wear this on holiday this summer :D

Zara Paint-Effect Denim Shorts - £22.99
This shorts fit me SO well!! I was really surprised because usually shorts are too tight around the thigh on me - but these are like the perfect fit! I really like how arty they are as well with the paint-splattered effect on them :) These are from the TRF collection as well.

H&M Pink Floyd Top - £9.99
I got this for summer as well - at the moment I've been wearing it underneath my denim jacket and denim shirt as it's still chilly here in England :(

DIY SHORTS
So these are my DIY shorts that I started in August 2011 and then completely forgot about them and then rediscovered them when I was sorting through my clothes a couple weeks ago. I basically just cut up a pair of old jeans that I wasn't going to wear again and then I soaked them in bleach over night. Once they had dried, I got a pair of scissors and tweezers and started fraying them and cutting holes in them. This was when I forgot about them :P but a couple of weeks ago I added some silver pyramid studs (bought off eBay) to the back pocket and to the front pocket just to add a bit of edge to them and make them a bit cooler looking :P And now they are finally  finished :D

DIY SHORTS - Studded detail on the back pocket.

I hope you guys enjoyed my mini haul and DIY attempt :)

Ashridge Forest

Hiya everyone, Amy and I recently went for a walk at the National Trust Ashridge Forest, and it was lovely despite the rain! We ended the day with giant scones and a dry car ride home!!

The scones were giant! I didn't take a photo of them, but they looked pretty much like this:

Not so peaceful...

Oh New Look.....
They really should start checking their products...

The 'Peace' Leggings

They don't actually have peace symbols on them. Anyone else noticed that these Cameo Rose Peace Leggings actually have hundreds of MERCEDES logos all over them?
I noticed this in an email they sent out, but weeks later and they're still selling them, i wonder if anyones actually bought Mercedes print leggings?

Now remember New Look, THIS is a peace symbol...

Over 'n out.
